Hardship Fund
As a school that is centered around cooperation, collaboration, and community, we are writing to ask for your help.
We have a family at school who is experiencing some hard time financially. With the consent of the family, the Admin committee has decided to try to raise money from within our community and beyond to cover tuition costs rather than add stress to the family or potentially pull out a child midyear.
Our goal is to raise $2,800. The family we want to help is doing their best to make regular payments, and will continue to do so. This effort is intended to lighten their load for the rest of the school year. We do not intend to create a long term scholarship, but rather help in a time of immediate need.
You can donate via PayPal (see Donate button below) or you can put a check in the grey box at school with "Hardship Fund" in the memo line. All donations are tax-deductible.

This is an experiment to see if (as a co-op,) we can expand the ways we support each other as a cooperative. Please feel free to share this request with others you know who might be interested in helping. Any money we raise over our goal will be invested back into our school. If you have any questions please contact us.
